Description

A very warm croeso to Gwern, a quality bed and breakfast accommodation on a family-run working beef and sheep farm.

Gwern is situated in peaceful countryside, surrounded by magnificent scenery of mountains and sea. The farmland runs down to the Foryd Nature Reserve on the Menai Straits, which is popular with birdwatchers.

Caernarfon, with its medieval castle, the Welsh Highland Railway and golf course, is only three miles away. We are only a short drive from Snowdon and the village of Llanberis, with its slate museum, steam trains and hydro-powered Electric Mountain.

We have two en suite bedrooms situated on the first floor. The double room looks out towards three mountain ranges while the family room looks out on the Menai Straits and Anglesey. Both have a courtesy tray, clock-radio, hairdryer, central heating and their own lounge area with comfortable armchairs and colour television.

There is a choice of breakfasts using local produce, free range eggs from own hens and home-made preserves. If you have any special dietary requirements please feel free to arrange these beforehand.

There is ample safe parking by the house.

For the enjoyment of the many, Gwern is completely non-smoking.
