Description

Oakfield is a house of great character, built in 1914. Set back in its own grounds and gardens it offers our guests both privacy and the quiet atmosphere they may need to relax and enjoy their stay. Spacious bedrooms, 1 en-suite double, 1 ensuite twin. There is private parking available at the rear of the premises. We have a bright and cheerful Breakfast room with adjoining conservatory for you to sit and relax at your leisure. We are situated in the quiet and pleasant village of Llyswen, which is situated along the river Wye with views of the black mountains. We are in easy driving distance from the nearby towns of Builth Wells, Brecon and Hay-on-Wye and close to leisure activities such as Llangorse Indoor and Outdoor Activity Centre, and for those of you interested there is the Wye Valley Walk and many local walks readily available within our area. We are situated on the main A470 from north to south Wales. Rates – £50 for a double occupancy and £30 for a single occupancy per night. Only cash or cheques with bank cards accepted. Sorry but we do not accept cards alone. We also do not accept pets and unfortunately do not have the facilities for disabled people.
