A beautiful and welcoming guest house awaits you in the charming wooded village of High Kelling, about a mile outside the Georgian former market town of Holt in North Norfolk. The seaside towns of Sheringham and Cromer are seven and ten minutes away respectively, and we are also ideally located within easy reach of several national trust properties such as Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall. The A149 coast road is but a five minute car ride away, giving access to pretty seaside villages such as Weybourne, Salthouse and Blakeney. Further along this stretch of road are two of North Norfolk’s finest beaches, namely Wells-next-to-the-sea and Holkham.

Plantation House rests in a third of an acre of quiet gardens, and has an eclectic style all of its own, offering rich and enticing en-suite bedrooms, each with a peaceful view of the gardens, woods or grasslands. The colonial style interior contains many thoughtful touches, rarely found in a bed and breakfast, and more akin to furnishings found in a five star hotel, including antiques and exquisite artifacts collected specifically for each room. The character of the property is also reflected in the gardens, where particular attention has been paid to planting and arrangement.
