AA 5 Star Award – Strete Barton House is a 16th Century Manor House with a large garden with stunning sea views; very close to two beaches; Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands. Walking; the South West Coastal Path is a mere 30 metres from Strete Barton House.

All the rooms have a contemporary feel and are provided with wall-mounted flat screen TV & DVD/CD player, wireless internet access, Egyptian cotton sheets, fluffy white towels, luxury toiletries, hairdryer, radio alarm clock and extensive beverage tray.

Full English Breakfast, fresh fruit salad, poached pears, cereals, bread and homemade jams; all using delicious local produce and the finest ingredients is served in the dining room.

Guests are free to relax in the spacious sitting room with large fireplace and wood burning stove or sit in the garden admiring the sea views.

There are a number of fantastic local restaurants, including two within a minute’s walk of Strete Barton House: ‘The Laughing Monk’ offering a wide choice of menu using fresh local produce including seafood, meat and vegetarian. The ‘King’s Arms’ has an excellent seafood menu and was awarded one of the Top Ten Seafood Places to Eat by Which Magazine.
