Our spacious Victorian country B&B stands on a hill overlooking the Irthing Valley, on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. We have four guestrooms which are comfortable, light and spacious; three are south-facing twin rooms with spectacular views to the Pennines. All have Wireless Internet available.

We are located on the border of Cumbria and Northumberland, overlooking the longest unbroken stretch of Hadrian’s Wall. We offer a peaceful getaway spot and an ideal gateway to the many places of interest in this area.

We have four spacious twin guestrooms, three of which have glorious views of the Irthing Valley and Hadrian’s Wall. Guests have a private breakfast room and a lounge room to relax in.

We have car parking, wireless internet and a beautiful owl in an aviary in our garden that has proven very popular with our guests.
As a family-run business in a rural community, we aim to run our bed and breakfast accommodation in an environmentally friendly way, thereby promoting sustainable tourism. This includes everyday energy reduction and the encouragement of local wildlife.
