Y Goeden Eirin offers a quintessentially Welsh welcome or ‘Croeso!’ It is run on very personal lines, and you will be welcomed here as a friend or family member. It is set in twenty acres of land, between mountains and sea, so it’s an escape from the crowds, yet very accessible. The standard of accommodation is five star, with luxuriously appointed bedrooms and bathrooms, a dining room with modern Welsh art, slate floor, bare stone wall and beams. There is a Bechstein grand piano in the dining room. Books, art works and antiques can be found everywhere. Yet the place has a modern feel to it, and is very comfortable. Food is freshly cooked on or in the Aga, and dinner can be served to residents and non-residents in our licensed dining-room by arrangement. (Not that it has to be booked in advance.) We have won many awards, including The Good Hotel Guide’s Cesar Award as Green Guest House of the Year, and a Green Snowdonia Award. Y Goeden Eirin features in many guide books and on many websites.
