Situated at the foot of Snowdon in the Snowdonia National Park, this site boasts stunning views and is ideally located to visit the nearby mountains and the coast. The onsite facilities are immaculate, including toilet and shower blocks, mother and baby room, family bathroom, launderette, well equipped shop (selling gas, food and camping equipment) and an off-licence. Families won’t be short of activities with a games room, mini-golf and a play area on site, and plenty to explore further afield including the beach. Fishing enthusiasts will appreciate the river Gwyrfai that surrounds the site.
Located at the foot of Snowdon in the Snowdonia National Park, this park is set on the banks of the river Gwyrfai and has fantastic views over the Welsh countryside. The site’s location is ideal for both a coastal trip and a mountainous retreat, sitting close to both.

The on site facilities include immaculate toilet and shower blocks, a family bathroom (with a bath), mother and baby room and a separate shower and toilet for disabled visitors. The launderette, shop (selling gas, food and camping equipment), off-licence and TV room ensure that the site has a ‘home from home’ feel, offering everything you may need to relax and enjoy your trip. Families and children will also be entertained on site as there is a children’s play area, games room, mini-golf and table tennis.

There’s also plenty to do in the surrounding area including mountainous walks (some of the paths start from the park itself), fishing in the river that surrounds the site, and visiting local beaches such as Dinas Dinlle, which is eight miles away or Black Rock Sands with its stretch of golden sands, just fourteen miles away.

For those more interested in the history of the area, visit nearby Bryncir and Trefriw, which are just two of the many woollen mills where traditional weaving is still carried out. Llechwedd slate cavern is a 19th Century mine with a huge underground cavern, also open to visitors.
