Saltash is a hillside fishing port in Cornwall, on the opposite of side of the Tamer estuary from Plymouth. Nearby, on the river is the Cotehele estate which is looked after by the National Trust. Saltash is situated in the Caradon district and is affectionately known as "the gateway to Cornwall". It is close to some fantastic coastlines walks on the rugged South Cornwall coast and equally fantastic locations inland.
