Whitchurch is a village in Hampshire, on the River Test, about 7 miles east of Andover. During the days of the stagecoach it was a place of much importance, such was its position on the road from Newbury to Winchester. There is plenty to see and do here as much of the town is a Conservation Area due to the affluence of wildlife in and near the river, and parts of the town are designated as Site of Special Scientific Interest.
