Accommodation in Broadstairs

Broadstairs ("broad stairway" from the wide set of steps carved into the cliff in the early 15th century as a route to the sea) is a town and seaside resort on the north-eastern point of Kent, and between Margate and Ramsgate. Charles Dickens liked the place and wrote David Copperfield here, basing Betsys cottage on a local house, he also had a holiday home here called Bleak House. Broadstairs is decidedly more genteel and upmarket than neighbouring towns, hence its popularity.
