Clitheroe is a market town in the heart of the characteristic Ribble Valley, Lancashire and is little more than 8 miles northwest of Burnley. Clitheroe sits within the Forest of Bowland, and Bowland Fells - predominantly barren grit stone fells, deep valleys and peat moorland.
