Corby is a Northamptonshire town on the western edge of the former medieval hunting grounds of Rockingham Forest. Visitors should avoid attempting to travel through the town during the Corby Pole Fair for reasons that will become clear upon research. Corby sits on ridge underlain by the Northampton Sands - an iron ore beating stratum - and is within a county affectionately known for its "Squires and Spires" such is the variety of historic buildings and country houses throughout the county.
Situated on the outskirts of Corby, with good access to Kettering. Corby is developing rapidly and has a new Railway station providing good access.
