Accommodation in Lowestoft

Lowestoft is a town and port on the north Suffolk coast, at the eastern end of Oulton Broad, about 10 miles south of Great Yarmouth. It is said to have originated as a Danish settlement on Lowestoft Ness, a promontory just to the north of the inner harbour that is the most easterly point in the UK. Lowestoft is characterised by its small but active fishing industry, its famed herrings and kippers, and its steep narrow alley ways of the old town known as the scores.
