Cranleigh is affectionately referred to as the largest village in England, but is regarded as a small town in Surrey 7 miles southeast of Guilford. It was once the centre of the iron industry during the Middle Ages, such is its locality to the iron rich Weald. The Weald now represents a prime location for forest jaunts due to the largely woodland and forested area.
