The Cottage

Description

The Cottage is located on Boring House Farm which is situated just outside the village of Vines Cross in the heart of East Sussex. The cottage sleeps a maximum of 5 people and has far reaching views.

The farm is within easy reach of both the coast and various Historical Houses, Castles and other places of interest.

We are a working farm with sheep. There is a pond and a small trout stream on the farm that you are welcome to use. Also if you like walking there are plenty of footpaths in the area and various public houses nearby which serve meals.

Unfortunately Vines Cross no longer has a shop but the village of Horam which is about 1½ miles away has a small collection of shops. If you require a supermarket and a larger selection of shops this is Heathfield in one direction (about 3 miles) or Hailsham in the other (about 5 miles). The nearest large coastal town is Eastbourne (about 15 miles).

Directions to all these places will be given to you on arrival if required. There are also leaflets and information about places to visit in the house for your convenience.
