An attractive well equipped, no smoking, two bed roomed cottage in the Village of Walkington, three miles west of Beverley.

The Cottage has full gas central heating and is fully double glazed. There are two bedrooms, one double, (there is a hairdryer in the dressing table drawer) and one with twin beds. There is a bathroom with a shower over the bath and an electric shaver point. There is a kitchen/dining area with: electric cooker, gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, washing machine, tumble dryer and is fully equipped for four people.

The sitting room has a gas fire, television, video recorder and c.d. micro hi-fi system. There is also a pay telephone.

The cottage is fitted with a smoke and carbon monoxide alarm.

There is an allocated car parking place in a private road.

The house could be considered unsuitable for under 5’s. Please ring to dicuss.

There is a small patio with table and chairs and a B.B.Q.

Sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers and towels are provided.

The village has three pubs, two serving food. The Dog and Duck do a Tea Time special 5.00 – 8.00 pm and thereafter the menu, the Ferguson Fawcett have a carvery, salad bar and an al-a-carte restaurant and The Barrel Inn.

The village shop will cater to most of your needs – milk, bread, savoury and pastries, off licence and all usual village shop facilities including a post office and off licence. The village shop is situated 300 yards from the cottage on the main road.

To reach Walkington: from the M62/A63 on to the A1034 turn right on to the B1230. On entering the village turn right at the Dog and Duck pub, on to Kirk Lane, and then right at the Bungalow on to a private road, Taylor’s Rise.

Beverley has pay and display parking in all car parks. There are all the major Banks and Building Societies and has a wide range of shops. For the

larger chain stores these are available in Hull or York.

Walkington is within easy reach of the coast, countryside and the Yorkshire Dales and the Moors.

The City of York is approximately a 40 minutes drive away with a Park and Drive facility situated on the A1079.

In the event of clients being unable to take up their accommodation the full rental will become due.

To cover this eventuality insurance is recommended.

Good Housekeeping – Please leave the cottage in a clean and tidy condition. Please wipe out the fridge and cooker.

Arrivals after 3.00 pm. The cottage must be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure.
