Morn Gate is a small peaceful select park of just over six acres set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Park occupies high ground with magnificent panoramic views over the surrounding countryside towards Hardys Monument and Maiden Castle and yet is only five minutes by car from the County and Market town of Dorchester.

Set in a quiet location, Morn Gate is ideal for those who appreciate a combined sea and country holiday. Whilst within easy reach of bustling coastal resorts including Weymouth, Portland and Chesil Beach, our guests appreciate returning to the peace and tranquillity of Morn Gate after a busy day sightseeing or at the beach.

We offer a wide range of luxury modern Caravans, Scandinavian-Style Chalets and Lodges all of the highest specification. All are fully equipped and self contained with electricity, toilet, shower or bath, refrigerator and microwave. All are thoroughly cleaned between each letting.

Vehicles may be parked at the side of the accommodation except when not practical due to inclement weather. We welcome dogs in certain accommodation provided that they are kept under control and are not allowed on the furnishings whilst other accommodation is kept ‘dog free’.

We have a large recreation area set aside for ball games and a children’s play area where children can play safely within sight of many of the holiday units. Adjacent to the recreation area is a barbeque area for use of our guests.

Morn Gate is uniquely situated only five minutes by car from the County Town of Dorchester where there are supermarkets, shops, a nightclub, pubs and numerous restaurants. Every Wednesday there is a market near the town centre. Weymouth with its golden beaches is only 6 miles away and in every direction there are charming villages, country pubs and inns offering varied menus from bar meals to full ‘a la carte’.
