Description

Set in 10 acres of mature parklands and award-winning gardens with gorgeous views over of the beautiful Limpley Stoke valley, Homewood Park is delightfully rural and peaceful. Step inside and you’ll find the house still retains many of its original features, including exposed wooden floors, antique paintings and roaring log fires, all artfully combined with stylish modern furnishings, fabrics and finishes. The result is a refreshing fusion of the conventional and contemporary – cool and chic. Smart and sophisticated, yet comfortable and homely, this is country life for those who still like to keep one foot in the city.

Following a recent complete refurbishment, Homewood Park has been transformed into a spectacular sanctuary offering 19 individually designed bedrooms, most of which overlook the multi award-winning, stunning gardens. Whilst undeniably modern and strikingly stylish, there’s nothing cold and minimalist here – each bedroom is deliciously tactile and softly luxurious.

The nationally acclaimed Lime restaurant offers diners modern English cuisine prepared by an award-winning team of chefs, lead by the inspirational Daniel Moon, voted ‘von Essen hotels Chef of the Year 2008 and 2009’. Daniel sources only the finest ingredients and uses seasonal local produce to create dishes that combine the wholesome comfort of English cooking with the flair of French cuisine. What’s more, there’s a strong belief that people eat with their eyes first, so the presentation is breathtaking.

Whether savouring a leisurely lunch in one of the three dining rooms, relaxing with the Sunday papers in front of a roaring log fire, taking afternoon tea on the terrace while watching a fiercely contested game of croquet or enjoying an after dinner coffee or digestif in the ‘secret’ bar, the comfortable informality envelopes you.
