The Isle of Man is a large island in the Irish sea, 31 miles west of the coast of Cumbria and equally as far from the Scottish and Irish coasts. Its capital, Douglas is ever popular with tourists, as are Castletown, Peel and Ramsey. The island boasts some fine beaches scattered around an otherwise rocky coast and hilly inland—Snaefell being the largest of these peaks.
