Choice Hotels open Comfort Hotel in Luton

The former Royal Hotel Luton has been completely refurbished and rebranded and is now ready to open its doors as a Comfort Hotel.

The hotel, which is set to open its doors next month, is located in the centre of the town and is now owned and operated by Naheed Nizar, director for Landlet Hotel Group, under a franchise agreement with Choice Hotels Europe.

The number of en-suite bedrooms in the hotel has doubled to 44 and there is also free wireless and internet access throughout. It is also believed that the number of people stopping in the hotel will increase as people learn of all the new facilities. There are to be fourteen complimentary parking spaces for guests and the hotel bar is open to both guests and non-residents.

Duncan Berry, chief executive of Choice Hotels Europe (UK) said: “We are delighted to see the Comfort Hotel Luton join our global network of more than 6,100 hotels. Furthermore, we believe that the Comfort brand will attract more guests to the hotel and help drive local economic growth for Luton.”
Choice Hotels Europe franchises nearly 500 hotels across Europe, including the Comfort Inn Vauxhall in London.
