Fraserburgh is a large port on the north-eastern pinnacle of Aberdeenshire, 15 miles north of Peterhead and just north of the sandy Fraserburgh Bay. It is apparently the largest shellfish port in Europe and has a vast fishing heritage that may be readily explored and experienced by visitors. Nearby, there is also a links golf course as well as a bounty of locations for water sports, walking and cycling expeditions.
