Edinburgh is the beautiful and charismatic capital city of Scotland, located in the central Lowlands between the Pentland Hills and the south shore of the Firth of Forth. Edinburgh is a hugely culturally rich city with plenty to experience in the way of museums galleries and exhibitions but it is also close to some fantastic landscape; the city is dramatically located—like Rome and Sheffield—among seven hills, all of them plugging now dead volcanoes, amongst them, Arthurs Seat and Calton Hill.
