Accommodation in Bo’ness

Bo’ness (short for Borrowstounness) is a largely industrial town nearly 20 miles west of Edinburgh, and rests on the southerly shore of the Firth of Forth. Formerly a port town and largely dependent on its coal mining industry, Bo’ness is a typical example of Scotland’s industrial heritage. Some of the surrounding hillside provides great areas for walking, particularly the leisurely jaunt along the coast up to Blackness Castle.
