Ruthin is a market town in Denbighshire, 14 miles northwest of Wrexham. Ruthin is characterised by its attractive market square that is surrounded by some fine half-timbered dating back to the 15th and 16th centuries. To the west of Ruthin one may find the mountainous Clwydian Range and Berwyn range, and the Vale of Clwyd, and if one travels a little further they may come across the vast countryside of Snowdonia National Park
