Accommodation in Meifod
Meiford is a small village on the River Vyrnwy, about 7 miles northwest of Welshpool. It was once a royal burial ground for the kings and princes of the Welsh Powys and their graves can be found at many sites about the village. Meiford resides in an area characterised by similar small villages and towns in the much isolated and mountainous areas of a geographically beautiful and diverse county.
