Accommodation in Llantwit Major

Llantwit Major is a small town on the south coast of the Vale of Glamorgan nearly 9 miles west of Barry. There is a monastery founded here by St Illtud that was an important early centre for learning in post-Roman Britain, both St David and St Patrick will have been educated here and it is from here that it is thought St Patrick was kidnapped by pirates and taken to Ireland.
